Deep Xiangqi is a strategy board game based on Xiangqi, also known as Chinese Chess. The application allows users to play against a computer-controlled opponent and may include an AI opponent that learns from gameplay.

Deep Xiangqi does not require users to create an account or provide personal information in order to play.

Deep Xiangqi does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, photographs, or messages.

3. Gameplay and AI Learning Data

Deep Xiangqi may process gameplay information on the user’s device in order to operate the game and allow the computer opponent to learn.

4. Local Storage

AI learning progress and other game information may be stored locally on the user’s device.

Locally stored AI information allows the computer opponent to retain learning that the user chooses to save.

Deep Xiangqi may provide controls that allow users to save AI progress, discard unsaved learning, revert to a previously saved AI state, or perform a factory reset.

5. Data Sharing

Deep Xiangqi does not sell personal information.

Locally stored gameplay and AI-learning information is not intentionally transmitted to Sports Wrecking Ball, advertisers, or data brokers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored game and AI information may remain on the device until it is removed through the application’s reset features, cleared through Android’s application settings, or removed when application data is deleted.

The Factory Reset feature may be used to remove saved AI-learning progress and restore the computer opponent to its original state.

7. Security

Reasonable measures are used to keep locally stored game information within the application’s storage environment.

However, no software or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or immune from technical failure or data loss.

8. Third-Party Services

If a future version of Deep Xiangqi introduces advertising, analytics, cloud storage, online accounts, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain the information handled by those services.

9. Children’s Privacy

Deep Xiangqi is a strategy board game and does not intentionally request personal information from children.

4. AI Progress

Users may also have the ability to discard unsaved learning, revert to previously saved progress, or perform a Factory Reset.

Factory Reset may permanently remove saved AI-learning information from the application.

Users are responsible for deciding whether AI progress should be saved, reverted, or reset.

5. Game Rules

Deep Xiangqi is intended to implement the traditional rules and gameplay concepts of Xiangqi.

Reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate piece movement, captures, check detection, and other game rules. Software errors or differences in rule interpretation may occasionally occur.

6. Entertainment and Educational Use

Deep Xiangqi is provided for entertainment and educational purposes.

Game results have no monetary value.

7. Application Availability

Deep Xiangqi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

Updates may modify gameplay, computer-opponent behavior, compatibility, appearance, performance, or other application functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sports Wrecking Ball is not responsible for damages or losses resulting from use of, inability to use, malfunction of, or loss of locally stored information associated with Deep Xiangqi.

9. Intellectual Property

The original Deep Xiangqi software, interface, graphics, branding, and other original application materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

No ownership claim is made over the traditional game of Xiangqi itself.

10. Acceptable Use

Deep Xiangqi may only be used for lawful purposes.

Users may not intentionally interfere with the operation of the application, distribute malicious modified versions of the application, or use the application in violation of applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated as Deep Xiangqi develops.

Continued use of the application after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by applicable law.
